Mark Reiss, who hails from New York, started his government career in 1982 with the US Peace Corps. Joining GSA in San Francisco in 1987, Mark learned the procurement and contracting profession and in 1995 moved to Washington D.C. to manage nationwide GSA contracts. Mark brings over two decades of contracting experience and public service to GSA.
Now working as a GSA Customer Service Director, Mark thoroughly enjoys supporting and advising local federal agencies from the National Park Service to the US Coast Guard. Mark also provides GSA support to state, local and tribal governments in the nine county SF Bay Area and central California coast. Mark has a BS in Economics from University of Maryland and an MPA from Cal State East Bay.
