LCDR Tim Jones is an active-duty Coast Guard officer detailed to DHS Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction’s Securing the Cities Program with a natural focus on the implementation and development of maritime preventive radiological and nuclear detection capabilities. His previous assignments have focused on the oversight and execution of the Coast Guard’s Emergency Management/All-hazards Response, Maritime Law Enforcement, and Search and Rescue (SAR) missions.
