Tactical Drone Solutions is owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Ron and Todd Lee. Ron began his aviation career 1982 when he co-founded Skydiving Innovations, a professional exhibition parachute team that continues to operate and thrive today. Ron entered the UAS industry in 2010 when he assisted the development and testing of small tethered aerostats for emergency response applications. That path led to the use of myriad commercial drone platforms for event and incident documentation and in 2018 Ron and his wife formed Tactical Drone Solutions to serve the emerging tethered UAS markets. Serving as Channel Partner and Reseller for Hoverfly Technologies’ suite of tethered unmanned aerial systems, Tactical Drone Solutions serves police, fire, first responder, emergency response, firefighting and industrial security organizations throughout the United States.
