The Port of San Diego encompasses a large U.S. Navy presence, cargo and cruise ship operations, sport and commercial fishing, robust recreational water activity, and a vibrant tourism industry. This diversity coupled with the proximity to the international border present challenges and opportunities for the Port of San Diego as it develops and enhances its Maritime Domain Awareness.
