Allen Florence, JRIC TIU Intelligence Analyst, is an intelligence analyst at the Joint Regional Intelligence Center (JRIC) Fusion Center for over six years. In that capacity, he serves on the Threat Intelligence Unit (TIU) to assess and prioritize the intake of Suspicious Activity Reports from the public and private sector communities.

He also serves as the “Requests for Information” coordinator tracking and facilitating information on subjects involved in criminal investigations across the nation. He is the fusion center’s maritime portfolio manager, sharing products on key incidents of human or narcotics smuggling into the Southern California Coastal region. He also serves as a Threat Liaison Officer (TLO) Instructor on terrorism or violent extremism.

He also is a 21-year Chief Petty Officer in the Navy Reserves and is currently the supervisor of the intelligence and operations departments for Command Navy Forces Korea in Ventura.

He has his bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering technology from Excelsior University in New York.
