Andrew is an Assistant Director in the Homeland Security and Justice team for the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO)—a nonpartisan and independent investigative arm of the U.S. Congress. Since 2008, Andrew has led work in a wide variety of areas, including Coast Guard oversight and maritime security, risk management, and law enforcement oversight. Several of his recent studies have involved Coast Guard shore infrastructure and homeland security issues, including environmental cleanup and facility security. Andrew has a Master of Public Policy and International Management degree from the University of California San Diego, School of Global Policy and Strategy. He received a Bachelor of Arts in International Political Economy from Colorado College.
