Ivan Avanesov is the CEO of Splash Industries, a venture-backed defense startup developing the next generation unmanned surface vessels. With a background in mechanical engineering, he’s been involved in marine robotics projects for almost a decade, mainly the field of deep sea camera equipment. In his previous business venture, he designed and manufactured industrial airflow testing equipment which is used in a wide range of facilities, from the US Navy to Los Alamos National Labs.
