Carlton J. Horton is a seasoned law enforcement professional with over 33 years of dedicated service. He began his career with the Aldine Independent School District Police Department, where he served for 10 years and played a key role in supervising and establishing both the Bike Unit and the Honor Guard.

He currently serves with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, where he has contributed for the past 23 years. As one of the Sergeants in the Maritime Tactical Operations Section, he provides leadership and operational oversight for the Industrial Unit, Marine Unit, and Dive Team, supporting critical public safety and specialized enforcement efforts.
