Michael Ziesemer is a senior maritime security and operations leader with more than two decades of experience working in complex ports, cruise terminals, and protective services operations across the U.S. Gulf Coast. He leads Terminal Protective Services, LLC (TPS), delivering integrated security solutions for maritime environments, and serves as General Manager of Gulf Coast Cruise Operations for SSA Marine’s Cruise Division, overseeing large-scale terminal operations in one of the nation’s most active port regions.

Previously, he served as Security Manager and Facility Security Officer for the Port of Galveston and the Port of Houston Authority, where he led MTSA compliance, interagency coordination, C-TPAT, and ISO 28000 security programs.

Michael is a recognized industry leader who has contributed to national maritime security initiatives through the National Maritime Security Advisory Committee Working Group supporting the 2024 MTSA regulatory update. He also maintains active roles with the Coast Guard’s Area Maritime Security Committee and ASIS International and serves on the Board of Directors for the Port of Galveston’s Propeller Club and the Galveston Seafarer’s Center.
